Easter Fun!

I'm all about the religious side of Easter but as a Toddler as with Christmas it is all about the gifts.

Yeah, I scored!
I can see you!
As with Christmas I was more than happy to sit for a few pictures, especially if in meant a second Easter Basket!

So long as I am cute I am going play this card as long as possible.

Taking It To The Next Level

One of my gals Kayla had her fifth Birthday Party today and boy did I have fun.  It was a bit of a drive but when they told me I was going to a Birthday Party I was good to go.

When we got out of the car we were at Elevated Sportz!

Whew!  The Bouncy House in my neighborhood had nothing on this place.

I was just having way too much fun.  It was intense!

There are very few places where you can play being a Knight and a Tail Gunner at the same time!
Unfortunately despite all the fun including staff dressed as mice it turned out that the note they attached to my back was a notation for when our party was going to be over!

At 4:30 we were hustled out!

I couldn't resist trying to grab one of Kayla's presents before we left but was stopped by my Mommy.  She assured me that despite the colorful wrapping I probably wouldn't want a new dress.

Getting Up On The Wrong Side Of The Bed!

Oh, I was not in a good mood today.  Hey, don't blame me! I am a toddler and I probably won't have so many raging hormones again until I am a teenager.

Well I was feeling it today and I was going to make sure everybody knew how grumpy I was.  I screamed at Mommy when she left, I screamed at Aunt Ashley when she tried (And Failed) to take me to Lil' Kickers.

Grrrr!

Even if I did get a chance to snuggle with my Mommy there are some days when nothing is right in the world.

Supervising Papo

I'm becoming a bigger boy and I need more play space.  Thankfully, Papo understands this reality.  Time for a new project!

The basement could be a perfect new playroom for me but we needed to kid proof it.  As much as I want to be treated as an adult having a face plant on a stone floor just doesn't sound fun.

Thankfully, we were able to engineer things to give me the maximum amount of space.
Dang Papo, you could at least take a break!  I guess that is why I am in management.

An Important Lesson On Sharing

Sharing is important.  Hoarding everything to yourself is no way to maintain a relationship with the people you care about.

Nothing like sharing a rich Molly Moon's ice cream cone with my Daddy!
Until Daddy starts taking more than his fair share!  Boundaries Daddy!  The way Daddy was licking that ice cream cone the next thing you know I would turn my head and that thing would be gone.

Cars . . . Still Going Strong At One Month!

It has been over a month since Mommy recorded Cars on DVR.  Well, we are still going strong!

Will Lightning McQueen make it to California to win the Piston Cup????  Will Lightning McQueen and Sally Carrera get together????  Will Mater get to ride in a helicopter????

Well, I already know these answers but that doesn't matter.  I still insist on watching this movie once a day!

Some say "Variety is the Spice of Life".  I say Cars is life's ultimate Habanero!

Jaxon The Giant Slayer

Today a Giant came down from the clouds and threatened me!  If you think watching a 3-D Imax film of Giants is scary you should see what fighting an actual Giant is like.

This wasn't CGI, we actually had a Giant in the house and I had to take a sword to him.

Sometimes heroes come from humble backgrounds and rise to the occasion when adversity strikes!

Hopefully I won't have to deal with another Giant in the house for a long time!  I think I shouldn't have to grow-up this fast!

Railroad Tycoon!

I think Cornelius Vanderbilt would have been impressed.

There is finally someone out there who has as much vision as he does with regards to Railroads.

I don't think there is any boy out there who can build such an extensive transportation network.  Just think about all the freight that can be shipped around the living room now!
When it was all done I just sat back and watched as my creation took on a life of it's own.  Now I know how the Robber Barons felt when their vision finally came together.

The best thing is that since I built it all myself I didn't have to bust any Unions.

St. Patrick's Day Fun!

Oh My!  Apparently I am not Irish at all but today it was all about the Green!  I would say nothing makes a waffle more exciting than Green Syrup!

The day got even better!  Apparently Daddy had consumed too much green colored milk celebrating St. Patrick the night before and felt that he shouldn't drive.  It makes perfect sense, I get really tired after a bottle of milk also.
This meant Papo had to drive Daddy downtown to get his car and they took me!

This was my first time driving downtown to get Daddy's car but I think he should drink too much milk more often if it means we can have so much fun afterwards!
We celebrated the successful retrieval of his vehicle with a wonderful trip to the park and exploring a tugboat!

Yeah, St. Patrick really had the right idea when he created this day.
Today, we are all Irish!

TGIF Time To Get Crazy!

Sure had a long week.  I'm not saying I didn't have fun, there was just a lot of structured activities like Lil Kickers.  Sometimes you just need some playtime with no rules.

Nothing says letting your hair down like crawling up a tree like a little Monkey and screaming at all the passersby.

This is what I call pure wholesome fun on a Saturday night.

Sadly, some kids my age decide they want to grow-up too fast and deal with the stress of the week in way less healthy ways.

I might be a little crazy sometimes but I am still on the straight and narrow!  You can be sober and still have fun!

Getting My "Cars" Fix For The Day

A year of watching this movie every other day hasn't gotten old yet.  I still fantasize every night about growing wheels on my feet and hands so I can be Lightning McQueen.

But until this happens I will be forced to drive cars instead.

Good thing I was with Papo and Deeda today who were happy to indulge my needs.

I got to play a naughty driver talking on his cell phone and the cop who busted him.

Rental Sisters

I sure do love my Wednesdays, as an only child I get lonely sometimes but on Wednesday I get to visit two wonderful ladies . . . Bailey and Cassie.

Definitely see the benefit of having constant playmates in siblings.  Still, not like I don't remember the pain of seeing Bailey snuggle with my Mommy a few months ago.

I still think I will experience this whole sibling situation on a partial basis.  I'm not sure I want my inheritance and attention cut in half.

Becoming A Bit Afraid Of The Dark!

Granted, before I was born I was alone in the dark for eight months.  A person would think I would be totally comfortable in the dark.  Well, I'm not!

And oh did I tell Mommy about it tonight.  If she thought I was going to just wait in my bed by myself for a Monster to come and eat me she was sorely mistaken.

Well, I was successful in getting Mommy to rescue me twice.  Come on Mommy, snuggling with me is more fun than watching old episodes of "Mad Men".  Besides, it's not "Crying Wolf" if you actually do believe a wolf is coming into your bedroom to eat you!

Beware the Tickle Monster

I have met with many Monsters in my time.  There is the cuteness of Elmo, the energy of Cookie, the Monsters that Bailey and Me play with and of course there are some scary Monsters that lurk in the shadows outside my window.  However, I discovered one that beats all of them tonight, The Tickle Monster!

Actually, I haven't decided if The Tickle Monster is Me or Daddy, this role will have to be defined over time I suppose.

Everything being equal, the cuteness of Elmo only takes attention away from me and Cookie Monster would never share his cookies.

I prefer the Tickle Monster!

Beer and Brats in Bavaria

My Parents told me that we were going on an adventure this weekend. I didn't know what to expect. The didn't tell me that we would be going to Bavaria!

I didn't really know where this place was but it sounded magical enough. Turns out it is in Central Washington.

Oh did I have fun! Can you believe that Mommy and Daddy actually tried to put me down for a nap in the middle of the day. Talk about an hour of wasted effort!

I was always a bit curious about what Europe would be like and now I know. It involves Schnitzel, Beer, Bratwurst and LOTS of tourist shops.

Yeah they only let me drink apple juice but maybe they will let me have some when I turn three!

Phew! I am going to need a vacation after I get done with my vacation! -Jaxon

Future Toastmaster!

Daddy had to skip his Toastmasters meeting for my birth so it was natural that I would eventually attend one of his meetings. Daddy felt I was a bit rambunctious so he didn't take me in right away. That was fine, since it was at the Swedish Cultural Center and I am half Swedish I had a serious discussion with the administration about my possible membership. And all of a sudden it was time for Daddy to give an impassioned speech! Good job Daddy! Oh, did I mention he won best speech! I had so much fun that I talked to Jim about becoming a future Toastmaster. Jim said they would consider my membership application so long as I was willing to show-up at 7 am each Thursday. I am all about it so long as I get to bring some more of these ribbons home! -Jaxon

Pooping On My Own

There are times in life when things just all come together and I take a giant step forward in my development as a human. Yesterday I put my shoes on by myself and today I have another first! I have mastered walking, talking and now pooping on the toilet! I figure the quicker I master this the sooner Daddy will stop having to change me. I was so proud of myself! After Mommy cleaned it out I came back for a second round, not because I needed to go but because I just looked so good doing it! I Am The Man!
